How to join the Arts Society Ashford

Membership

Membership currently costs £60 per person per annum.

Payment is in advance and due on 1st June for the following academic (programme) year being September to June. Under the constitution failure to pay by 30th June is deemed as resignation.

Payment can be made at the April, May or June lecture meetings, or by post to the Treasurer or by Standing Order.

You can also pay directly into our bank account using on-line banking. Our bank details are as follows:-

National Westminster Bank,  Sort Code 60-01-21, Account Number 00549665,  Account Name THE ARTS SOCIETY ASHFORD.    Please put your name or an unambiguous part of it as the ‘reference’.

Your subscription includes  covering the cost of the monthly lecture meetings, including the hiring of Aldington Village Hall, the lecturers’ fees,  audio-visual equipment  and personal membership of the National Association which provides a magazine.

Visits and Special Interest Days are not included and require additional payments.

How to join

We take on new members in February and September. 

While waiting to join you are able to attend four lecture meetings per programme year at a cost of £7 per lecture. Please contact the Membership Secretary if you wish to do this.
